Step 3 – Registration Confirmation
Once we have received the necessary information, our reception team will create your client and pet records.
Registration is free of charge, and a veterinary appointment is not required simply to register your pet with our practice.
Does My Pet Need an Initial Appointment?
We do not routinely require new clients to book an appointment solely for registration, weighing their pet or meeting the veterinary team.
However, a veterinary consultation may be recommended or required if:
-
You have concerns about your pet's health.
-
Your pet requires a clinical examination or treatment.
-
Your pet needs prescription-only medication.
-
Your pet is due for vaccinations or another veterinary service.
-
A veterinary surgeon considers an examination necessary before providing a particular service.
Please note: Veterinary consultations are chargeable unless specifically advertised or agreed as free of charge. Our team will explain applicable fees when arranging an appointment.
Transferring from Another Veterinary Practice
If your pet has previously been registered with another veterinary practice, we may ask for the details of your previous vet.
With appropriate authorisation, we can request your pet's clinical history to help ensure continuity of care.
We recommend arranging the transfer of medical records before your pet requires routine treatment or repeat medication wherever possible.
Booking Your First Appointment
Once registered, you can book appointments by contacting our reception team.
Appointments are subject to veterinary surgeon availability and clinical requirements.
For routine procedures and surgery, we recommend contacting the practice in advance to discuss availability.
